1) Secure the sustainable business
  • Keenly monitor the trend and plan of all relevant regulation change from the government authorities not only importation related also our sales related as well
  • Pre-engage the relevant authorities including customs broker to pick up any move of regulation change
  • Pick up any (potential) compliance related matters upfront
  • Come up with solution or mitigation plan
2) Drive cross functional alignment
  • Implement corporate SHE & TQM vision and strategy to support commercial objectives in the market
  • Contribute towards and support the roll out of corporate initiatives/ projects
  • Drive strategic initiatives leading to continuous improvement in SHE performance in line with the Nestlé Continuous Excellence mindset
  • Provide input to define the local business strategy, for strategic decisions, company priority setting and overall efficiency of the operations
3) Develop People and Organization
  • Establish the appropriate organization in line with the operational plan (OP)
  • Recruit, develop, motivate and manage a team to deliver superior performance and results
  • Manage and comply with the HR and Line Manager’s Planning Cycle
  • Manage the development and evolution of the technical function in the Market
4) Nespresso Quality Management System
  • Ensure that the NMS(Nespresso Management System) is consistently aligned with HQ and communicated in the market / hub taking into account local adaptations
  • Lead the Management Review of Quality (MRQ)
  • Ensure that the system is regularly up-dated and reviewed in order to ensure continuous improvement
5) Operations Assistance
  • Provide necessary services to ensure Quality/ SHE / Technical in all departments
  • Define the local After Sales service strategy
6) Customer Satisfaction
  • Lead the cross functional continuous improvement actions and be the owner of the customer feedback processes to drive reduction of complaints
  • Contribute to overall customer satisfaction in the market by leading complaint reduction actions
  • Specifically enhance environmental and after sales programs
  • Evaluate systematically the external Customer/Consumer Quality expectations
7) Safety, Health and Environment (SHE)
  • Drive the high recycling rate in the market including: Boutiques, Boutique-Bar, Point of Sales, Events, Service Partners, Warehouses and Offices
  • Implement a solution for collection & recycling of capsules fully aligned with corporate sustainability strategy
  • Secure the safe working environment thru qualitative risk assessment with the implementation of mitigation action in time
8) Risk assessment, root cause analysis and action planning
  • Monitor performance in the Nespresso market for opportunities to improve in the quest for zero defect
  • Support the implementation in departments of Business Continuity Plans for their major activities
9) Crisis & Incidents Management
  • Implement the Nespresso crisis management system and verify its efficiency
  • Lead/ coach the crisis committee for all other incidents / crises according to NMS
  • Lead the follow-up of crises in relation with quality / SHE / technical issues
10) Compliance
  • Ensure compliance of machines, coffee and accessories sold within the Nespresso market
  • Ensure adherence to company principles, policies and requirements and local laws / regulations including SHE
  • Ensure that the Technical specifications, knowledge about machines, after sales services and guidelines are applied throughout the whole chain, including external after sales partners
  • Inform HQ about all local regulatory changes
  • Conduct Audit in Supply Chain, support to keep quality related processes and assure that food safety is kept
11) Budget Management
  • Continuously monitor budget spend of the TQM department as per Operational Plan (OP), respecting corporate audit guidelines
  • Review the current spend and initiative new trial of reducing our spend with new proposal

1) Academic Experience
  • University graduate or equivalent (preferred Technical, Food Technology, Science or Engineering)
2) Business Experience
  • Closely worked with cross-functional teams
  • Food safety related Regulatory Affairs & Understanding about homologation
  • Machine / Quality Management / SHE
  • After sales service
  • Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated capability to lead projects and change management
  • Demonstrated management capability including ability to lead, coach, engage and influence
  • Demonstrated communication skills thru Management exposure across several functions
